The company was founded in 1997 as OutCast Communications by Caryn Marooney and Margit Wennmachers. When they left their previous agency to create OutCast, Caryn and Margit asked themselves one question: How can you advise clients on a strategy unless you are actually involved in execution on a daily basis?
